This is the story of Richard William (Dick) Curless, a beloved country singer from Maine. Dick performed and composed from the 1940's to the 1990's. His music was a success in Nashville, Branson, Bakersfield, throughout the USA and Europe and, by breaking into those venues, reminded the world that Northern country music has as rich a history and following as country music has in the South and West. This film is a testament to him and his music and demonstrates that he is a treasure of the Northern Country States and of the US as a whole.
